Eco Swaps for the kitchen

So you want to start looking for more eco friendly products and swapping some of your everyday products?? I’ve got 2 fantastic products from *Net Zero Company to share with you today as I’m in the process of slowly swapping out products too, I do one or 2 a month and find that it works better for me, you don’t feel too overwhelmed that way and it gives you chance to finish what you do have and of course gives you time to find swaps that will work for you.

Who are Net Zero Company??

They are a Canadian company on a mission to encourage change with everyday reusable items that can make a difference no matter where you live. All their packaging is plastic free, 100% biodegradable and 100% recyclable. Net Zero are partnered with Eden Restoration Project to plant trees in less economically developed and environmentally challenged countries and make a donation with every order. Which is absolutely amazing!

I was first introduced to *WAKEcup last year when I took part in their 1 Day No Single Use Plastic Challenge so when they reached out to me again and asked if I’d like to try out their Copper Water Bottle, I jumped at the chance because I’d heard so many fantastic things about them and how great they are for your health.

Review | Brushd Eco Friendly Oral Care // AD

~*This post contains gifted products*~

If you’ve been a reader of my little blog for a while then you’ll know that I’m on the path to try and lead a more ethical and eco-friendly life, and that means trying to swap out all my plastic usage. I’ve started swapping a lot of my everyday products, it’s not an easy or fast process so I try and stick to one swap a month which is not only doable but gives me a chance to use products up and to stop that massive feeling of being overwhelmed by it all.

I have been using much more natural toothpastes but they come in plastic tubes, then I tried a toothpaste from the brand Georganics, and even though it was in a glass jar, I have to admit it was a very unpleasant experience when it came to cleaning our teeth, and the family weren’t happy. I was starting to lose hope. We’ve already made the switch to bamboo toothbrushes and have been using those for a year or so now already but trying to find the right eco dental products has been a bit of a nightmare until I discovered *Brushd.

Review | Coconut Matter Mood Deodorants //AD

~*This post contains gifted products*~

There is nothing sexy about smelly armpits. We all know how important deodorant is to our daily hygiene routine but not all deodorants or antiperspirants are made equal, most of the shop bought stuff are loaded with toxins, aluminum, and lots of other unwanted chemicals and preservatives and as a lot of you know I’ve been on the hunt for a natural deodorant that works. I’m also on the look out for more eco friendly and zero waste products which was quite hard but now thankfully, they’re slowly popping up and it’s not as impossible to replace old products for more eco friendly ones.

The newest natural deodorant to hit the internet is *Coconut Matter’s Deodorant Stick, handcrafted in small batches with all-natural ingredients like Wild organic virgin coconut oil and mineral-based magnesium (essential for good health), and a bioactive compound to fight the musk without clogging your sweat glands. Packaged in a biodegradable, easy-glide stick from recycled paper cardboard tubes lined with wax paper, choose from four different unisex scents – I’m currently loving Zen! I mean talk about zero waste this is what I’ve been looking for.

Review | Resuaboo Bamboo Coffee Cup // AD

~*This post contains gifted products*~

Being a mum to 3 boys and just living in a house full of boys in general is hard work and I can’t live without my morning coffee, the dream baby has been teething and his tooth has started to cut through the gum so he’s not been sleeping and I think he’s having a bit of a leap as he’s almost crawling so that hasn’t really helped the sleeping either as he’s been waking himself up either on his front trying to crawl or screaming in pain because of his teeth. Let me introduce to you my new Eco-Friendly best friend the *Reusaboo Bamboo Coffee Cup.

Those of you that know me, know that I never leave home without a reusable coffee cup, because it not only saves on creating waste (and saves me £££’s), it keeps me topped up with caffeine too for those really long and tiring days when I need it. I’m trying to cut down my single use plastic waste, and this was the first time I’ve actually used a bamboo coffee cup and I have to say that it was so worth the swap. I’ve seen them around and had been dying to try one but never really knew if it would be worth it.
