New Year Goals For 2021!!

Wow, a brand New Year that not only brings a fresh start but hopefully a little bit closer to a much better year and a splash of normality. This year I wanted to try and set myself some Blogging/Social Media Goals instead of the usual New Years Resolutions, to try and achieve in 2021! I have so many plans for my blog and know where I want to go so really excited to be getting a lot more content out there.

Can A Cervical Screening Test Affect My Chances Of TTC??

I think a lot of women, like myself wonder if having a Cervical Screening Test (also known as a Smear Test) can affect your chances of conception. I know I questioned myself exactly this when I got my reminder letter in the post.

For me, my health is really important and I think that having a Cervical Screening Test is equally important. I remember getting my first letter through the post and I was so scared and worried about it, but there really isn’t anything to worry about.

TTC | Period Tracking App – Ovia

Since really taking TTC seriously I’ve downloaded a really good app for tracking your period, fertile days and of course the day you ovulate. I really took my time to find the right app for me and this was it. It’s called Ovia.

 

I’ve tried a few period trackers in the past but they’ve only ever been really basic ones, a bit like a diary which I’ve always used anyway to keep an eye on my cycles. As soon as I got my first period I always wrote down when I was on, this was a trick I picked up from my older sister.

 

I needed an app that I could record a lot of data on. I came across Ovia when I searched my App Store for a tracker and it was one of the first ones that came up. I did my research and read some reviews and decided that this app could be the one that works for me.

TTC | Our Journey

I want to share something a little different today and I hope you enjoy reading it. It’s something personal and a journey that we’ve been on for the past couple of years.

 

Myself and my partner have been together on and off for almost 8 years now. We’ve known each other since we were in Primary School and we lived just down the road from each other. Even our older brothers were friends and used to hang out together. We even went to high school together, he was in the year above me and I always had a bit of a crush on him.

 

We used to speak but it never went beyond that. Being one of the popular boys in school I never really had a chance with him. I was a bit of a tomboy and wasn’t interested in makeup until I was 15-16 years old and even then it was just white eyeliner, eyebrow pencil and mascara. When I 15 I remember we had a kiss and we didn’t really talk much after that.
