Sample Sunday | Dr Botanicals Cocoa & Coconut Superfood Reviving Hydrating Face Mask

This week I chose the product from my sample box and I managed to pull out this little Dr Botanicals Face Mask. My skin has been feeling quite dry with the cold weather setting in and of course with all the mask-wearing we have to do. This smells so lovely.

This is the first time I’ve tried anything from the Cocoa & Coconut range. Dr Botanicals is one of those brands that I like but I don’t really buy anything from them, however, I do have quite a few full-size products I picked up in their secret sale that I’m dying to try. It’s definitely becoming one of my favourite brands.

Application

Apply a thin layer and leave for 5-10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

this is such a lovely mask, I was really impressed with it. You really don’t need much, I found that my skin drank it up. Because it’s a really quick and easy mask to use I just popped it on before bed after cleansing and found my skin felt so soft afterwards. On days my skin was feeling really dry, I used a slightly thicker layer and left it for a good 15 minutes.

It’s such a lovely treat for tired skin and helps to hydrate, revive and nourish skin. It has a lovely lightly whipped texture is 100% natural and vegan friendly. It has coconut oil and cocoa butter in it, which is great for hydrating the skin so it’s great for people with normal, oily, combination and dry skin. It’s packed full of anti-oxidants which protects the skin from free radical damage and helps to hold in the moisture.

Key Ingredients
Cocoa Butter is a great skin smoother and moisturiser.
Coconut Oil is high in antioxidants and fatty acids that work to hydrate, restore and protect the skin.

This is made from fresh ingredients so make sure it’s used up within 3 months of opening and store it in the fridge. It’s lovely and cool when you apply it from the fridge which is great for the summer months. I really like this and I found it’s a great weekly treat for your skin. This travel size is fab if you want to try it before you buy it.

Would I buy the full-size product??

I think I would buy the full-size product but I’d only use it in the winter when my skin dries out so much more as it’s a lovely mask for making sure you put that much-needed moisture back into your skin. You can buy the 30ml travel size for £9.99 or the full-size 60ml jar for £16.90.

Have you tried this mask out?? What did you think??
