I’m a massive fan of monthly subscription boxes and I’ve probably tried most that are on the market, now if you’re looking to switch to a beauty box that is packed full of natural, organic and vegan friendly products that are also all cruelty free then look no further. I’m sharing my first impressions and the contents to the February Edit of my favourite subscription box The Natural Beauty Box.
What is The Natural Beauty Box??
It’s a monthly subscription box packed with fantastic natural, vegan and cruelty free skincare and beauty products. There’s a selection of green, clean beauty products tailored around a monthly theme and they’re delivered right to your door. Each month you will receive 5-6 products and they will be a mixture of travel sized and full sized products.
The great thing is, there’s a range of different subscriptions you can choose from; there’s the standard monthly boxes for £24.95 for those who like a treat in the post every month. Or for a discounted price, you can choose to pre-pay for 3 months or 6 months.
You could go for the one off box option which is great for those who like to buy occasionally when you see a theme or product you like. They also make the perfect gift boxes too. This is £25.95 per box.
They have the bi-monthly option. You will receive a box every two months instead of every month. You will be billed £24.95 every two months so this works out at less than £12.50 per month!
Or you can choose from the new plastic free quarterly box which started from April 2019. Every 3 months, the monthly box will be free from plastic so you can choose to subscribe quarterly and only receive a box every 3 months, full of plastic free, natural and vegan skincare products.
With all of the subscription plans, you can cancel anytime, hassle free. They also have the option to skip a month should you be going on holiday or if funds are tight in a particular month.
The Theme for February’s Edit was Cleanse which I absolutely love so I knew there was going to be some fab products inside. This month 4 out of 5 products are full size which is amazing value and there is also 1 extra sample in there too.
Balmonds Omega Rich Cleansing Oil 200ml | £22
The first full sized product out of this month’s Cleanse Edit is from a brand I’ve never seen before. It’s a cleansing oil with Rosehip and Calendula that can also be used as a body oil and is 100% natural. It’s suitable for all skin types and I have to say I’m really excited to give this one a try. I love my cleansers and I’ve tried all different type of cleansers but this one is an oil so I’m hoping it will be really moisturising.
PHB Ethical Anti-Blemish Gel 20ml | £22
The second full sized product out of this month’s Cleanse Edit is a Blemish Gel from one of my favourite brands. I’ve tried so many products and have to say they’ve all been great. This is one of their new products and I’m really excited to give this a go as it will be great for my blemishes and breakouts. The OH might even let me use it on his skin as he has really oily skin so I think this will work well for him too.
Made By Coopers Eucalyptus Rosemary Bath Salt Blend 100g | £7.99
This is the only travel sized product in this month’s Cleanse Edit box and it’s another fab brand. I absolutely LOVE these bath salt blends and have tried a few from this brand. I know the OH will love this one after a long day in work. It’s a soothing blend to help relieve muscular aches and pains. Looking forward to seeing how much he enjoys having a soak in the bath with these.
Friendly Soap Detox Bar 95g | £2.75
The third full sized product from this month’s Cleanse Edit is this fab Detox Soap Bar. This is one of my favourite soap brands and I’m really looking forward to using this bar as it smells absolutely lovely, so fresh. This bar has activated charcoal in it which helps to absorb the toxins from your skin. This is great to give skin a really good detox and I can’t wait to see my skin after using this.
Lavera Detox Effect Face Mask 50ml | £16.95
The last full sized product out of this month’s Cleanse Edit box is from another of my favourite brands and a product I’ve not tried yet. I love a good face mask and this one sounds fab. The natural and organic ingredients includes the anti-pollution complex along with organic algae and natural mineral clay which is composed of numerous minerals and trace elements to detox and deeply cleanse facial skin from everyday environmental pollution. It’s suitable for all skin types, which means I might even get the OH to try it with me, see if it can help with his skin as he works in the elements so his face sees it all and could do with a good detox.
Overall, I’m really happy with the products and the value and if I’m completely honest I don’t think I’ve ever been let down by a box. They’re always full of fab products that I love trying out and using. I mean for £24.95 with FREE delivery what more could you want? This month’s box has a total value of just over £71 which is amazing. I’m looking forward to seeing what March’s theme is and what products are inside.
