Review | Botanicals Foot Rescue Balm // AD

~*This post contains gifted products*~

When *Botanicals contacted me and asked if I would like to work with them and try something else from their award-winning products, of course, I said yes! I have previously worked with them before where I was trying out the lush Gentle Cleanse Melt, if you missed my post you can catch it here.

They currently have 4 foot products available, there’s the Therapeutic Foot Scrub, Foot Rescue Balm, Mineral Foot Scrub and the Cooling Foot Lotion. I was sent the *Foot Rescue Balm which is ideal if like me, you have very tired and over worked feet that become cracked, dry and have really hard skin. it’s Naturally antibacterial and soothing to the skin, the foot balm is concentrated, so only a small amount is needed. Botanicals balms are made entirely with earth sourced ingredients so that means they’re suitable for Vegans but they are also Certified Organic by the Soil Association.

My Feet Problems

My feet are especially dry and I suffer from cracked heels and really hard skin. I have to admit spending most of my days on my feet probably don’t help and I tend to neglect them too often. I’ve spent a good few weeks getting them into a bit of a better condition than they were and I’m keen to keep it that way. You should now get the idea of the condition of my feet, so let’s move on to the actual product.

Key Ingredients of Botanicals Foot Rescue Balm

Organic Shea butter, Organic Jojoba, Organic Apricot Kernel Oil, Organic Peppermint, Spearmint and Tea Tree Essential Oils.

To Use

Apply a pea sized amount. Work into the skin until the product has completely absorbed. For optimum results use before bedtime. Also perfect to use if you’re at home having a chilled day. Shower, add balm and finish off with you favourite pair of lightweight organic cotton or bamboo socks.

The Review

I’ve been using this foot balm now every other (I forget some nights) evening now for well over a month and I absolutely love it. The scent is so subtle and really pleasant smelling, it’s scent of Wild Mint & Tea Tree, is just so relaxing and perfect for after a long day. It comes in a lovely amber glass jar with a plastic lid, this looks so good sat on my bedside drawers. It’s easy to open and store, as well as being able to get as much of the foot balm out as I need each time I use it. As you know I’ve been trying to give my feet much more TLC and keeping it a nightly or other nightly routine and I have to admit I’ve tried so many foot products that I was starting to lose hope. I’m so glad this came into my life!! There are a couple of other products that I do like but this is the one that’s had me much more excited at night to use. This is really easy to use and it is easily applied, as well as it being easy to massage into the skin it absorbs so well and doesn’t leave your feet feeling oily at all. You really don’t need a lot of product and I’ve still got an awful lot of product left in the jar. A 60g size jar that retails for £18 could last you at least 3 months if not longer and the 150g size jar that retails at £32 could last you well over 6 months maybe longer which is amazing value. This is why I’m falling in love with this brand so much!!

I found the balm really hydrating and nourishing my feet have been left feeling absolutely amazing, like they’ve had a pamper every time I use it. Make sure you pop on your socks after applying this as it does make feet slippery and we don’t want you falling over, I tend to apply this if I’m not going out or in the evening as it give you chance to unwind and get ready for bed. Honestly, there’s nothing more relaxing than giving tired a feet a really nice 5 minute massage with this gorgeous balm! I have noticed a massive change in my feet and they are no longer as dry with hard skin. They feel softer and they look a hell of a lot better and that pesky hard skin is slowly disappearing. I will continue to use the amazing foot balm until I run out and will happily re-purchase the larger sized jar. I don’t use my fingers to get the product out of the jar either for hygiene purposes, I use just a bamboo lollipop stick to scoop out the right amount. I will keep using this until the pesky hard skin has completely disappeared from my feet. I could go on and on about how amazing this foot balm is but I wont, I think you’ll have to try it for yourself to see what I mean and I will definitely be adding this into a few peoples Christmas presents this year. You know when you’re onto something good when 87% of people noticed an improvement after using the product for 4-weeks. If you are in need of something both luxurious, cruelty free and which really works, this is something you definitely need to try!

Do you also suffer with cracked heels, dry or problematic feet?? Is there anything you’ve used which really works?? Would you give this product a try??
