For this weeks Sample Sunday, I closed my eyes and just picked the first thing I grabbed in my sample box. It just so happened to be this lovely Limited Edition Freyaluna Rituals Winter Forest herbal soap.
I received this in my The Pip Box Advent Calendar and it smells absolutely delicious. Even though it’s only a small soap I’ve already got a week out of it and it’s still going. I love fresh scents like this. It smells slightly piney with a hint of snow or winter berries, so is a real wintery scent and I love it because it smells so fresh.
Who is Freyaluna Rituals??
It was founded by the lovely Sami Blackford who during her younger years suffered with severe acne that over the counter medicine wasn’t helping and so without any knowledge of skincare she set out and started to explore and experiment with wonderful ingredients found in nature. Sami is certified in Aromatherapy and Herbal Medicine, and started Freyaluna Rituals to encourage women to take time for themselves and to enjoy using their skin products. Her products are all natural and contain absolutely no artificial, harsh or synthetic chemical ingredients.
This really lathers up beautifully and the bubbles feel really soft and nourishing, not like some soaps where you feel like your hands are dry after using them. I’m not entirely sure what lovely natural ingredients make up this soap but I know it’s packed full of good stuff and if I had to guess I’d say there’s Shea Butter in there and that’s why it feels so nourishing on my skin. Unfortunately this was a Limited Edition soap made just for the Pip Box advent calendars but you can get your hands on one of Sami’s other Herbal Soaps here. I’m dying to give them all a try and might just have to place a cheeky order on pay day.
I’ve tried quite a few products from this brand and have been completely thrilled with them and have certainly enjoyed using them. They always smell absolutely amazing. There’s quite a few products on my wish list that’s for sure.
Have you tried any Freyaluna products before?? Did you like this soap from the Pip box advent calendar??
