Can you believe it’s the last Sample Sunday of the month?? Eeeeeek, that means baby boy will be here soon and February is going to be such an exciting month. I just hope I will be able to get us all into a good routine. Back to the products I’ve been using this month.
I’ve tried a few products from the brand I’ve been using this week which is Myroo Skincare. I have to say I really like Myroo Skincare as the products are specifically made for those with sensitive skin and allergies in mind, they’re 100% plant based, cruelty free and vegan. They are also the UK’s first free from brand, which means all the products are natural, organic and vegan. They are free from nuts (all nut products not just edible ones), gluten and dairy. In fact they’re free from all 14 food allergens and don’t use any known synthetic irritants. They also offer a fragrance free version of each product.
The first product I’ve been using is the gorgeous Raspberry and Cucumber Superfood Balm, I’ve had the full sized tub of this and absolutely loved it. It’s definitely an essential if you suffer really dry skin when this cold weather sets in, for £25 you get a 40g tub, it’s a lot of product and an even better little multi-tasker. It’s suitable for all skin types but specially formulated for sensitive or allergy-prone skin. You can use it on dry, chapped patches; knees, elbows, heels or cuticles. Use on fly away hair ends or eyebrows. Try it as an overnight treat for tired skin or melt in your hands for a wonderful massage oil.
For me I use this more on my knees, legs and dry hands. It really works wonders and is packed full of great ingredients like;
Raspberry Seed Oil – Rich in oleic and linoleic acids, raspberry seed oil is very high in vitamins E and A, making it an excellent antioxidant. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.
Cucumber Seed Oil – High in omega 6 & 9, natural tocopherols and phytosterols, it is protective and strengthening and encourages regeneration of healthy skin cells.
It smells just as good as it sounds too and I’d forgotten how quickly this balm gets to work and makes your skin feel so soft an amazing. I’d definitely re-purchase this.
The second product I’ve been using is the Starflower and Orange Blossom Skin Boost Facial Serum. I’ve never used this before so was looking forward to giving it a try. The full size 26g bottle is the most expensive product on the Myroo website at £30 for this wonderful oil you can’t go wrong. It’s suitable for all skin types, even sensitive, eczema, psoriasis and rosacea sufferers, but specially formulated for sensitive or allergy-prone skin.
Their unique blend of skin loving oils is packed with antioxidants, omega 3, 6 & 9, vitamins & minerals. The concentrated formulation gives maximum nutrition to undernourished skin. It helps protect and repair the skin’s natural barrier to the elements. Prevents water loss and helps the skin maintain its natural moisture. I found this serum really helped keep my skin feeling really hydrated, when your out in the cold then back at home with the central heating i find that it really plays havoc on my skin and it dries out and feels tight but this has really helped to keep it soft and hydrated.
With a lot of oils I’ve tried I much prefer using them at night as I find my skin benefits more from them and they have more time to get to work. Face oils are surprisingly versatile and easily slot into your daily skin routine. For instance, if you use a light day moisturiser and experience dryness rather than switching to a heavier cream you could add a drop of face oil.
Have you tried Myroo products? What did you think?
Lots of Love
