Empties #001

If there’s a type of post I love reading from fellow beauty bloggers it’s the empties posts. I love seeing what products people have managed to use up that month and what they would and wouldn’t repurchase. I’ve done several of these in the past but have decided that since it’s the end of January I’d share my first empties post of 2019 with you all.

I’ve managed to finish quite a few products this month but I think that’s purely down to this pregnancy and constantly doing the self care and pampering thing to make myself feel better and while I can spare some time to do it. So what have I been using, and what will I repurchase?? Let’s take a little look.

Myroo Om Oil Post Exercise, Bath, Body & Massage Oil 100ml I received this in The Natural Beauty Box and absolutely loved it. I used it for the bath mainly and it worked such a treat. It made my skin feel amazing afterwards and the bump felt so soothed too. I’d definitely buy this again, even the OH and the munchkin loved it as it helped relax them after a long day in work or school.

Kokomelt Spa Mini Lavender Scrub Cubes This was another product from my favourite subscription box The Natural Beauty Box. These were really nice to use as they were mini single cubes, you only needed to take out the amount you needed and give your skin a good exfoliation. I really liked these and would like to try other products from this brand and maybe see if I can sneak a few of their man products into the bathroom for the OH to try.

Buff Up Morning Blend Massage Oil 100ml Another really nice find in The Natural Beauty Box and this was such a lovely product, I think the OH enjoyed this more as he got a few massages out of it. I used this on the bump as well as in the bath. It’s such a nice product as it has so many different uses and isn’t just for massage. I’d love to try more products from this brand for sure.

Love Boo Super Stretchy Miracle Oil 50ml I received this lovely oil from a Dear Bump Box and as you can see I’ve gone through so many oils, I’m obsessed with putting them on my bump to soothe the itchiness that comes with the stretching skin. I’d buy this again for after the baby is born to try and help with the few stretch marks I now have. This can also be used on dry and uneven skin tone. It can also be used on scars and damaged skin and it really does soothe your skin. What a lovely multi-tasking oil.

Myroo Skincare Superfood Balm Raspberry & Cucumber I really love this product and have used it before. You can read my review here.

Herbfarmacy Skin Rescue Balm, Meadowsweet Muscle Balm & Enriching Body Oil Another fab little bundle of products i really enjoyed using. You can read the review for these little guys here.

Buff Nuit Sea Salt Body Scrub 60ml I love a good body scrub and this one was really, really nice to use. I’d buy this again for sure but would like to try one of the other scrubs they have in their range. It didn’t feel too coarse and was really easy to use and fresh smelling, which I love. My skin felt so soft afterwards and I didn’t to add on too much moisturiser afterwards.

Made By Coopers Sleepy Head Room & Pillow Mist 30ml Another fab product I’ve tried from this brand. I absolutely loved using this room and pillow mist especially in the munchkins room. It definitely helped to ease him off to sleep after a nice relaxing bath. I will definitely buy this again. The scent is just gorgeous with a blend of lavender, frankincense and chamomile that just relaxed him so much.

Nakin Natural Anti Ageing Advanced Cleansing Milk 150ml This was a nice cleanser but one I’m definitely not used too. I usually have cleanser that you massage into the skin and then wipe of with a warm bamboo or cotton cloth, however, this one you applied it to your face and neck, massaged it into your skin then removed it with some cotton pads. I tried it a few times this way but it didn’t feel the same and I didn’t get that clean feeling. I think my mum would love this cleanser and I’d definitely love to try more of their products because you’re never to young to use anti ageing products.

Myroo Skincare Starflower & Orange Blossom Skin Boost Facial Serum I love a good facial oil and really liked this one, I would like to try the full sized bottle of this to see how much my skin would benefit from it. You can read my review here.

Herbfarmacy Refining Eye Cream Another nice product and one I would like to try the full size of, I love a good eye cream and have made sure I include this into my skincare routine. I’ve reviewed it here if you’d like to take a look.

Tropic Skincare Vitamin Toner Pore Refining Mist 120ml I really enjoyed this toner as it was so refreshing and lovely to use. It was my first time trying this toner out and I will definitely buy this again. I do love a good spray toner, this one was packed with vitamin c, aloe vera juice and cranberry extract which helped moisturise my face. After cleansing I would spritz this on my face and neck then just leave it soak into my skin before applying any moisturiser or oils.

Manna Kadar Goddess Flutter Mascara in Jet Black 10ml I really liked this mascara and can’t believe I’ve used this up so quickly. I did a full review of this here.

Guiltless Skin Clarity Organic Face Oil 30ml Another find from The Natural Beauty Box and I really, really liked using this facial oil. not because it’s 100% organic but because it really did make my skin look and feel amazing after each use. This is fantastic for blemish-prone skin too. It was easy to work with and absorbed into the skin really nicely and fairly quickly. I would buy this again.

Optiat Coffee Face Scrubs 10g & Face Masks 1g This was a lovely little kit that I received in my Dear bump subscription box. I absolutely LOVED the coffee scrubs and would definitely buy those again and the face masks were nice too. I did a full review here.

Vitamasques Ruby Sheet Mask 22ml I’m not a massive sheet mask fan but really liked using this. I got this form my The Pip Box advent calendar and would really like to try the other masks from this collection out too. I did a full product review here.

Have you tried any of these products?? What did you think??

Lots of Love

Thank you. I can’t get enough of the Myroo oil, I absolutely loved it and will rebuy for sure. I was pretty happy with the majority of the products I’ve used this month if I’m honest xx
