Pregnancy | Week 22 Bumpdate

I’ve decided I’m going to be doing my Bumpdates slightly different, rather than sharing every week I’ll share every 2 weeks and I’ll add in more information about myself and how I’m feeling and cravings, etc.

Can you believe I’m 22 weeks?? Wow, I’m just past the half way mark and feel like I’ve been pregnant forever already!! I know as soon as Christmas comes we really won’t have long left. I’m really starting to get excited and of course I’m starting to buy things for him.

How far along?? 22 weeks.

Maternity Clothes?? I have a couple of things from George at Asda but I’ve been living in a lot of cheap Primark clothes.

Sleep: Hahaha Oh my god, what is this?? I’ve not been sleeping well at all because I just can’t get comfy in bed at night at all, it’s really driving me crazy. I’m getting up so much as well be it to visit the toilet, to grab a drink or a snack.

Miss Anything?? YES!!! I miss having a tea or a coffee especially on days where I’m so worn down from work and just need that little pick me up but apart from that there’s nothing really.

Movement: I can not figure out this little ones pattern at all, with having an anterior placenta I find it hard sometimes to feel him move but this week I can finally say I can feel him moving. I’m going to start a movement chart so I can try and work out a pattern with him.

Gender: Boy!!

Cravings: Not with this pregnancy. I haven’t had any cravings at all which is so weird and I keep waiting for something. The OH is happy I’m not sending him out in the middle of the night for things.

Labour Signs: Nope!!

Symptoms: Really bad lower back pain, which is what’s stopping me from sleeping I think, I get swollen ankles and feet sometimes. Mainly when I’ve been working on those days. Tired and fairly emotional.

Belly Button In or Out?? Almost Out!!

Mood: I have to admit I’ve not been too bad mood wise, I get a lot angrier over things but I think that’s down to lack of sleep but mostly I’ve been ok.

Best Moment This Week: I think it has to be getting all the baby and the munchkins stuff for their bedroom. They have to share a room so we are decorating it really soon and I can’t wait.

Looking Forward To: Getting the bedroom decorated and finished so we can move onto to another room of the house.

I hope you all have a fab weekend and can’t wait to hear what your all up to this week.

Lots of Love

Such a fun post. Congrats on the boy! I love reading pregnancy blogs, don't really know why, since I don't plan to have children anytime soon, but to just get an insight on how this might look like.

I am slightly jealous of this! I kind of miss this journey because I have like several excuses not to move too much but I can't keep up with the fact that I couldn't take coffee or tea when I was pregnant! Looks like everything's been really great, Rachel! I bet you can't wait to meet your little boy!
